What we do is only possible with help from our volunteers.

The Dwelling Place (TDP) is fully operated by volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available at the TDP Day Center, TDP Essential Hygiene Pantry, and TDP Shelters.

TDP Day Center seeks volunteers willing to help once per month for three hours on Mondays and Fridays..  Volunteer opportunities include making sure our neighbors have orderly access to laundry and shower facilities and assisting with serving lunch.

Interested in helping behind the scenes to clean TDP Day Center or to cook once per month? We may have a volunteer opportunity for you.

TDP Essential Hygiene Pantry volunteers prepare bags of products and count inventory to make sure we’re fully stocked.

TDP Shelter volunteers help maintain the property and grounds. Volunteers also work directly with TDP Housing Team re: family management.

In addition to the ongoing volunteer opportunities, we also host special events throughout the year to support The Dwelling Place.  Events, such as TDP Breakfast and Break-a-Balloon and TDP Golf Outing, rely on the help and support of our wonderful volunteers.

No matter your experience and interests, we can find a spot for you on our volunteer team!
